PRAD’S APPROACH TO METALLIZATION GIVES MEANING TO CREATIVITY!
Sustainable and chic metallization is a powerful lever of differentiation—and transition—for luxury brands who work hand in hand with the French liquid metallization specialist to enhance their bottles and jars while having an exemplary ecological footprint.
Once again, PRAD’s liquid metallization is in the spotlight. The Huile Pure des Bases de Cartier bottle, produced by Waltersperger and metallized gold and laser-etched by PRAD, won a prestigious 2024 Formes de Luxe Award.
PRAD also distinguished itself with the dazzling decoration of Lolia Lempicka’s Le Parfum holiday edition. The famed apple-shaped flacon was metallized a long with the three-dimensional decoration.
Finally, Interparfums created a stir with a translucent golden metallization for I Want Choo Le Parfum, also entrusted to PRAD.
“Liquid metallization, either opaque, gradient or our transparent variant, offers unlimited possibilities for innovation and differentiation. We also combine it with laser engraving, silk screening, pad printing or hot stamping to create unique designs” emphasizes PRAD CEO Bruno Pierrain.
Today, the company is positioned as an expert advisor in eco-design from the initial lab phase to combine aesthetics and durability.
PRAD’s chemical engineers design and develop formulas adapted to the most demanding specifications. “Transparent metallization allows us to achieve both finesse and elegance, while guaranteeing an exceptional level of quality and respect for the environment. The technique is also compatible with full recyclability” he adds. These low-energy processes reflect PRAD’s commitment to CSR; the company recently received Eco-Vadis Platinum certification, placing it in the top 1% of the world’s most responsible companies.
